Genome Engineering Unit (GEU) is one of the Core Facilities International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, one of Poland’s leading research institutions. GEU was established in 2021; before that since 2014 was a part of the Laboratory of RNA Biology, headed by prof. Andrzej Dziembowski. The extraordinary success rate which is approximately 90% prompted us to open this core facility to supply the scientific community with quickly generated animal models at reasonable prices.

We use CRISPR/Cas9 under licenses to patents from ERS Genomics Limited.
